Overview

This web service provides current and historical benchmark interest rates from global financial markets in the U.S., Europe, Canada and Asia.

Key interest rates include U.S. H15 Rates, state rates, and Canada Treasury rates.

XigniteRates currently support the following commonly quoted interest rates:

Benchmark Lending/Borrowing Interest Rates

U.S. & Canada

Discount Rates, Fed Funds, US & Canada Treasury Yields & Rates, Constant Maturity US Treasury Rates, average Municipal Bond rates (Moody's), Average Prime rates, Commercial Paper rates, and average Corporate Bond rates (Moody's.)
FHLB (Federal Home Loan Bank) district cost of fund indices.
Mortgage rates surveyed by Freddie Mac and mortgage yields required by FannieMae (Federal National Mortgage Corp.)

International

Canadian Rates: (Prime Business, Treasuries, etc) from the Bank of Canada
LIBOR: Overnight rates and LIBOR rates on Forward contracts quoted in 17 different currencies and for various durations (requires a XigniteInterBanks subscription).
Other Interbank lending rates: EURIBOR, SIBOR, HIBOR and rates for other European countries (requires a XigniteInterBanks subscription).

Interest Rate Swaps

Swap rates for privately-negotiated (OTC) par interest rate swaps compiled by ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association.) (requires a XigniteMoneyMarkets subscription).

Deposit Rates

Interest rates paid by banks on CDs and EuroDollar Deposits compiled by the Federal Reserve.

Returns U.S. Treasuries interest rates for a specific date.

GetRateFamily

Returns a collection of related interest rates.

GetRateFamilyTable

Returns a rate table for a rate family.

GetTodaysRate

Returns the end-of-day interest rate for today.
