RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and development of complex, multi-tier web applications including user interface, business functionality and database access.
- Work with other members of the engineering team to design/develop new product offerings.
- Enhance existing software by analyzing and identifying areas for optimization, modularity, performance or refactoring.
- Generate technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests.
- Investigate new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing industry developments.
REQUIREMENTS

- At least 3 years hands on experience and deep knowledge developing n-tier database-driven websites using Microsoft technologies, such as ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET AJAX.
- Significant demonstrable experience developing in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, web services and cross-browser design issues. Knowledge of jQuery and front-end optimization is a plus.
- Have built highly scalable web applications for b2b and/or b2c.
- Proficient in database design, queries and programming in Microsoft SQL Server. MySQL knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with XML related technologies and SOA concepts.
- Ability to grasp and understand the business needs and design solutions that are most effective and efficient to deploy.
- Solid understanding OOP concepts, design patterns and able to architect code in a scalable and extensible way.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with teams.
- Good understanding of security, caching and performance tuning preferred.
- Knowledge in open-source software such as Linux, Apache and PHP a plus.
- B.S. in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
